The consecrated by a vow which most likely will be appealed in meeting-house court and could reignite a debate in succession the church's stand on gay issues, was meant as a display of support for the Rev Joseph H Gilmore, who has been performing same-sex unions at the southward Presbyterian Church in Dobbs Ferry NY "My colleagues were really surpassingly brave in taking a first pace to break a violent silence," Gilmore told The strange York Times. As a national organization, the Presbyterian house of god (U.S.A.) does not endorse same-sex unions. yet in 1994 church leaders ejected a proposal that would have banned as it was unions outright.
